WHAT IS ADVANCED ALTERNATING PRESSURE: Alternating pressure therapy uses pressure redistribution to relieve pressure on skin surfaces and bony prominences. The air cells on the mattress slowly inflate and deflate under the user at a predetermined or adjustable cycle time.- INTENDED FOR: The MA600 alternating pressure system is intended for individuals from medium-high risk of pressure sores or stages I-IV.
- HEELSENSE TECHNOLOGY: The MA600 also features advanced heel technology called HeelSense. HeelSense Technology can help provide further therapy and comfort by decreasing pressure in the vulnerable heel area.
- CLINICAL FEATURES: Advanced three-cell alternating function inflates and deflates cells in a 3:1 cycle, providing active pressure relief by supporting 2/3 of the body at any given time. Max Inflate Mode is designed to provide quick maximum inflation within seconds to aid with transfers and nursing procedures.
- FEATURES: 10 adjustable comfort settings depending on the patient’s therapy requirement 60 second pulsation feature is designed to help improve capillary blood flow by continually readjusting to a level surface pressure.
- MATTRESS COVER: Highly vapor permeable and oversized pliable quilted nylon top cover is designed to provide low shear, friction and moisture protection. Soft nylon urethane backed cells are designed to provide easy cleaning for caregivers.
